INTRO

The journey begins on June 6th, 2025 with our main teachers Nina and Christina.

​

Within the 200h Soulspace Yoga Training we are deeply committed to supporting you on your journey and in your practice. As an experienced and skilled faculty in both local and global settings, our goal is to hold space for your growth in every way - in a healing nature and in a nurturing environment.

​

We will be focussing on the teachings of Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, Meditation and Pranayama.

​

This training is inspired by traditional yogic practices for body, mind and spirit, as we dive into yogic philosophy and ethics, and add knowledge form Integrative Kinesiology and more. We will connect the ancient wisdom and modern tools of self-care, functional movement practices and skilful teaching. Each day is built up with practices that help you create and live a more vital, conscious way of life. To live from the Inside out.

We seek to inspire you on your journey, to support you to activate and cultivate your inner knowing that supports purpose and passion and a sense of homecoming.

​

We focus on setting an understanding and foundation of the basics, both physical and subtle.

​

It certifies you to teach in compliance with the latest standards of the Yoga Alliance.

​

We invite those who wish to become teachers and also anyone who wants to deepen their personal practices.

​

The training builds up through 7 Modules - four weekends (Fri-Sun) and one intensive week. It extends over half a year.

PRACTICUM 15+hrs

PREREQUISITES

  • Regular practice

  • A stable physical and mental condition

  • Willingness to grow, a commitment to learn, to be in community and to share your energy

  • Attend the main teachers class prior to application

  • Those who are interested must attend at least one regular lesson (clarification lesson) of the training management

YOGA
STYLE

BREATH & PRANAYAMA

Our breath is the best support to anchor in the present moment. The way we breathe impacts our lives in many ways. Let the breath guide the movement so that the breathing acts as a bridge between our body, mind and spirit. We integrate a pranayama (breathing practice) and bandha (internal locks) practice to activate life force. The retention of the breath used in this practice is supporting the pranic pressure, to find calmness and steadiness while the breath is still and firmly held (either in or out).

HATHA  YOGA

This class has a continuous energy while practicing different yoga asanas. Letting the breath guide the movement to stimulate the energy within our bodies and allow prana to flow so our mind can relax. The postures are kept save and simple and are held a bit longer than in a flow class- focussing on building strength and flexibility and cultivating that balance over time.

VINYASA YOGA

Vinyasa is a type of yoga that links movement and breath to create balance in the mind and body. Vinyasa aligns within a sequence of poses with the breath to achieve a continuous flow. 

​

YOGA NIDRA

Yoga Nidra is a direct path into a full and complete release of everything that pulls us out of the most precious healing experience we have- it helps us ease into the present moment.Let this class support you in the process of letting go, surrendering, allowing, listening, feeling, being breathed and being. Inside this experience, you meet your purest most essential self.

RESTORATIVE YOGA

Restorative practice for its relaxing, calming and healing effect. It is considered an ideal balance to our hectic and stressful modern lifestyles.

FACULTY

CHRISTINA  EGGENSCHWILER

Main teacher, Christina Eggenschwiler specialised in Anatomy and Physiology as well as in Sports Therapy, Meditation and Mindfulness Practices. Chris has more than 16 years of teaching experience. She gained her professional knowledge in her trainings with Tiffany Cruikshank (Yoga Medicine), Karin Gurtner (Anatomy Trains in Motion), in spiral dynamics and in various specialist specialisations (CAS Sports and Movement therapy, Pilates, Health Promotion, Injury Prevention, Pain Management, etc.). During the completion of her Masters in Sports Science she gained a comprehensive understanding of movement. Christina conveys the theory in a very interesting and applicable way with many real-life examples and the practice with exciting self-awareness techniques.

NINA  LUGINBÜHL

Main teacher. Yogi since more than 17 years, eight years of teaching experience, Retreats in Switzerland and abroad. She owns the Soulspace Yoga Studio in Zürich and is full time self employed as a Yoga teacher since 2016. Nina’s main focus is teaching private classes and Retreats.

She trained with Stephen Thomas, Paul Dallaghan, Sri O.P. Tiwari, Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, Jana Roemer. She is also trained as a Thai Yoga Massage therapist and a Hypnosetherapist.

ANKIT KOKIL

Ankit Kokil is a Yoga teacher hailing from India, with a wealth of experience in the field of Yoga practice. With 15 years of personal yoga practice and 5 years of teaching experience in both India and Europe, Ankit has honed his skills and expertise in Hatha Yoga. He did 500 hr TTC in India and had represented India at world yoga conference and championships held at Rome Italy in 2009.

​

With having cultivated his knowledge in a teacher-student environment, Ankit understands the importance of a nurturing and supportive atmosphere in the practice of yoga. He is known for his unique and simplified approach to sharing his extensive knowledge and expertise. Ankit's journey has taken him to various studios in Italy and Spain. His passion for yoga and his commitment to helping others has made him an instrumental figure in the yoga community. Ankit’s teaching style is characterized by his ability to blend traditional wisdom with contemporary approaches, creating a harmonious balance between the mind, body, and spirit. His classes are not only physically invigorating but also focus on mindfulness, breath-work, and relaxation.

LAURA JACKSON

Laura Jackson brings over 20 years of clinical expertise in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), psychosomatics, and 5-Element therapy. As a practitioner deeply rooted in these disciplines, she specializes in treating pain, burnout, allergies, psycho-emotional imbalances, and long-COVID through a blend of TCM, Shiatsu, and psychosomatic techniques. Her extensive background in traumatology, oncology, nutrition, and psychoneuroimmunology adds depth to her offerings, making her an invaluable resource for those seeking physical and emotional health. Laura also weaves her 30+ years of dedication to Yin Yoga into her teaching, guiding students on how to integrate the principles of the 5-Elements into their practice, from asanas to nutritional and herbal wisdom. Her approach is both practical and holistic, fostering a deeper understanding of how to balance the body and mind through the nurturing of these elements in daily life.

ALEXANDRA HUNZIKER

Complementing Laura's deep-rooted knowledge, Alexandra brings her mindfulness, creativity, and compassionate approach to teaching Yin Yoga. Her yoga classes are enriched by her extensive training in Yin Yoga, particularly as it relates to all phases of life and "being a woman." As a couple and family counselor, Alexandra incorporates life wisdom, emotional intelligence, and a calm, nurturing presence into her sessions. She encourages a deeply personal and heart-centered practice, ensuring each student feels supported and understood. Beyond the mat, Alexandra expresses her passion for holistic living by creating unique essential oil blends through her own label, Augustine, and finding inspiration in nature with her dog, Ruby.​
