SOPHIE
As an elite acrobatic gymnast, Sophie devoted her life to sport from a young age. Early on, she learnt the power of our brains and how we can go far beyond what we believe to be possible. This seed of intrigue led her along a path to studying the mind, body and psychology.

Sophie found her yoga practice at university while studying for her masters in Business Psychology. She was searching for a way to stay active, manage stress and just let go of daily life. In 2019, Sophie completed a 200-hour vinyasa yoga teacher training in South Africa as a way of deepening her practice. Since then, she has only fallen more in love with yoga as a way of life. Sophie has ~600 hours of training including vinyasa yoga, yin yoga, pregnancy yoga, mindfulness & meditation.

In her classes, you can expect creative intelligent sequencing for vinyasa flow, grounding yin postures, as well as mindful breathing techniques and meditation practices. Equipped with her holistic yoga and psychology training, she aims to empower others to find their balance through mindful movement; beat burnout symptoms and build the habit of self-care.
